WVSA Risk Management Policy
The WVSA Board of Directors has approved a risk management policy to be in effect for the 2005-2006 seasonal year.
This policy, along with procedures and forms, may be downloaded in Adobe from the WVSA web Site. There are two sample letters in the forms that are available in Word from the WVSA office. This policy must be implemented by all WVSA Member clubs and Leagues and by all WVSA Programs.

Portable Goal Fatality; Houston Chronicle
Attached is an article concerning a fatality involving an unsecured soccer goal in Houston, Texas on June 14, 2005.
While it does not appear that is involves any US Youth Soccer State Association, it certainly reinforces the requirement by all states and their member clubs to implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure that
portable goals are secured before all soccer activities.
