Dave Laraba Inducted Into the Region I Hall Of Fame

West Virginia Soccer Association’s Dave Laraba has been inducted into the U.S Youth Soccer Region I Hall of Fame Saturday at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Md.

Laraba has been involved with soccer in the state of West Virginia for over 30 years, making contributions on the local, state, regional and national levels. He began his soccer career in 1982 as the president of Beckley Raleigh County YMCA Soccer Association before becoming president of the West Virginia Youth Soccer Association in 1987. Currently, Laraba is the executive director of the WVSA as well as a member of the U.S. Soccer Federation Appeals Committee and the U.S. Youth Soccer Leadership Development Committee.

Laraba was inducted alongside the late Al Sinclair, a longtime administrator with New Jersey Youth Soccer.
