WV SOCCER ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES NEW US SOCCER D COACHING COURSE IN MORGANTOWN
Our first D coaching course of the 2019-2020 winter season will begin the first weekend in December in Morgantown and will be hosted by MUSC. Please read the course information below:
The National D license is a 40 to 45-hour course, held over two weekends, designed for the grassroots coach who meets the prerequisites outlined below. The focus of this course is to facilitate the improvement of the candidates in the Six Tasks of a Coach across all four game models (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11) with an emphasis on coaching training sessions. Candidates that register for this course are expected to attend both meeting weekends.
Eligibility Requirements: Interested coaches must have completed a minimum of three grassroots courses in the form of two in-person courses and one online course:
Two in-person courses (one of which must be the 11v11)
One online course across any of the four levels (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11)
Coaching candidates who have already earned the E License can meet the D License prerequisites by simply taking the Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module online. The entire course will be held at the CPASS building on the campus of West Virginia University.

Sat, Dec 7th - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Sun, Dec 8th - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Sat, Feb 29th - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Sun, March 1st - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
