Teams applying for the cup competition must compete in the WV State League or an approved league. The league competition must consist of a minimum of one (1) game against each of three different teams in the league. Select teams are not eligible for any cup competition.
U12 must play in the WV State League to qualify and be seeded for State Cup.
U13 and up can qualify by playing in WV State League or if you want to qualify by playing in any other league you will have to email cups@wvsoccer.net your team name, the league you want approved to play in, age group and division so it can be verified. You will required to submit your roster and additional information which will be discussed when you email us.
However clubs will be required to provide teams for our state league so those that cannot use another league can qualify (as needed). It does not have to be the same team that is in State Cup for example WVFC 03 Black is in State Cup ...WVFC 03 Red can be the team provided for State League if a team is needed.
